The cost of living is having a major impact on children accessing these valuable outdoor experiences. The amount parents are spending on school trips a year averages out to £266. This can prove a real problem for some families. We want to change this! Big School Camp is the most accessible school activities programme in the UK, costing from as little as just £25 per child.

The Big School Camp team want the whole year group to enjoy this amazing experience together! Having a Big School Camp situated in the school grounds reduces the cost of providing these enriching experiences for pupils. By making it truly affordable, schools can ensure that 100% of their students can get involved.

Each camp is carefully tailored to meet the particular needs of each individual school each one is truly unique! We consult with the school during the planning stages to ensure that every criteria is met, with consideration given to making the activities accessible for all children. For schools which do not have the space or the facilities, we even have our very own campsite located in ancient woodland just outside Horsham, West Sussex.

Gone are the days of searching for an affordable residential. We’re breaking the mould and offering children across the country the opportunity to try something new to push themselves out of their comfort zone, to learn new skills and to work as a team. We all know the value of these experiences in helping children to build their confidence and develop into happy, healthy learners.
