SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST A SCHOOL TRIP
The Big School Camp team want the whole year group to enjoy this amazing experience together! Having a Big School Camp situated in the school grounds reduces the cost of providing these enriching experiences for pupils and by making it truly affordable, schools can ensure that 100% of their students can get involved.
Each camp is carefully tailored to meet the particular needs of each individual school, so each one is truly unique! We consult with the school during the planning stages to ensure that every criteria is met, with consideration given to making the activities accessible for all children. For schools which do not have the space or the facilities, we even have our very own campsite located in ancient woodland just outside Horsham, West Sussex.

Each member of our team is carefully selected through a rigorous vetting process to ensure they meet the highest standards of professionalism, safety and care. With extensive experience working with children in the UK and around the globe, our team is uniquely equipped to create memorable, enriching experiences for every student and teacher who joins in.
Our commitment to safety and quality starts with our recruitment process. Every team member undergoes a comprehensive DBS & Criminal Records check and completes a tailored training program designed to prepare them for the dynamic situations of working within the school environment. We leave no stone unturned in ensuring that our staff are not only skilled but also deeply empathetic, understanding the unique needs and challenges of working with children from all backgrounds.
Collectively, our team brings decades of expertise in child development, outdoor education and youth group coordination. Whether guiding students through confidence-building activities, facilitating teamwork exercises or providing a friendly and reassuring presence, our staff’s dedication shines through in every interaction. Many have worked internationally, bringing a wealth of cultural awareness and innovative approaches to our programs.

At Big School Camp, we provide a safe, well-staffed and well-organised outdoor learning environment for children aged between 6 and 16 years of age. Every Big School Camp is unique and tailored to the school's specific requirements. Months of planning go into every event to make sure it’s the most amazing experience for the school, the teachers and most importantly the children.
Our camps run alongside the normal timetabled school day and smoothly transition into afternoon activities resulting in an incredible overnight camping experience.
