Maximising School Sports Premium Funding: Enhancing Outdoor Learning Through Onsite Residential & Activity Camps.

In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the importance of outdoor activities in education. These experiences not only promote physical health but also foster personal development, teamwork and resilience among students. Schools in the UK have a unique opportunity to leverage their Sports Premium funding to enrich these experiences, particularly through onsite activity camps.


In recent days the Governement have announced that there is to be continuation of the current funding levels to all qualifying schools. Funding remains at its current level, £ 320 million for the academic year. The funding will be paid in two tranches, one this Autumn, with the following payment being paid in Spring 2026.
